• bella papers - black & white, glitter vellum
• black colouring pencil
• 3m x 2.5cm red grosgrain ribbon
• 3m x 1cm black with white spots grosgrain ribbon
• 3m x 1cm white with black spots grosgrain ribbon
• wire
• double-sided tape
• hot glue gun & glue sticks
• scissors
• pencil - Step 1
- Measure boxes and cut strips of paper to cover all around the sides. Attach the papers to the sides using double-sided tape. Cut 3cm strips from glitter paper and attach over the other papers.
- Step 2
- Trace around the base of each box on the reverse side of the paper, cut out and attach to lids. Use the black pencil to colour in the small gap where the paper does not meet the edge.
- Step 3
- Attach red grosgrain ribbon around edge of each lid then add either black with white spots or white with black spots grosgrain ribbon. Create a large bow from remaining red ribbon by looping the ribbon over itself. Secure in centre of smaller box with hot glue. Attach double-sided tape along the entire length of remaining black ribbon, remove backing paper and cover with remaining white ribbon trapping the wire between the two ribbons. Wind wired ribbon around a pencil to create 3 candle shapes. Use remaining wired ribbon to create a looped bow, glue over red bow. Glue candle shapes in amongst the bows. Pop gifts inside boxes and stack them like a two tiered cake.
