- Materials
- • two 12” x 12” co-ordinating double-sided scrapbook papers - one side plain, the other patterned
• double-sided tape
• fine tip permanent marker
• glue stick
• scissors
• paper trimmer - Step 1
- To create the card, cut one paper 21cm x 15cm and fold in half with the pattern to the inside. Set remainder of the sheet aside.
- Step 2
- Cut a panel for the card front 14cm x 9.5cm from the second sheet and with plain side out adhere to the front of the card leaving an even border all around.
Cut a 3cm x 14cm strip from the first paper and attach on top of the panel towards the bottom of the card front. Cut a 2cm x 14cm strip from the second paper and attach over the last strip with the patterned side showing. - Step 3
- From the first paper cut two pieces one 8.5cm x 5.5cm and the other 7.5cm x 4.5cm mat them together with the plain colour on top. Use the fine tip pen to write your message. Cut out a design (leaf shapes) and glue to the front of the card.
- Handy Hint
- Always use a permanent marker when writing on the card front so if the card happens to get wet the ink won’t run.
