Refer to Basic Instructions for Wrapping & Knotting as shown in the instruction booklet that comes with the loom.

Using the Rectangle Butterfly Loom, and G, wrap the Loom once and knot off using Ladder stitch (see instruction booklet) and remove motif from loom. Make 8 of these pieces.

Using C and E together as one and the large Butterfly Loom, wrap the loom once and knot off using ladder stitch.Create 2 of these pieces (referred to as #1).

Using A and B together as one and the large Butterfly Loom, wrap the loom once and knot off using ladder stitch. Create 2 of these pieces (referred to as #2).

Step 3
Butterfly braid
Take the 8 rectangle loomed pieces and 4 large butterfly loomed pieces, work the Butterfly Braid around the edge of each individual piece.

Slip stitch a rectangle piece to each end of the knitted piece. Slip stitch a rectangle knitted piece onto each side of the #3 large square, with the rows of knitted green nearest the large square.

On the opposite sides of #3 square, slip stitch #1 into the corners, and the other opposite sides slip stitch #2.

The throw is now slip stitched together and complete. If desired use G to work treble around the edges.
