Striped tea cosy

- Materials
- • 1 x 50g ball each of 3 colours “Basics” Pure Wool 8ply
• 1 pair 5mm knitting needles
• scissors
• yarn needle
• tape measure
• pompom maker
Approx size: to fit a medium size teapot - Step 1
- Instructions - make 2
Cast on 45 stitches. Work in stocking stitch - *8 rows of colour 1, 8 rows of colour 2, 8 rows of colour 3*. Repeat from * to * once, ending with a purl row. Cut off yarn and run end through rem sts; draw up tightly and fasten off securely. - Step 2
- Make up
With right sides together sew side seams leaving a centre opening for the spout on one side and the handle on the other side.
Using pompom maker, make 3 small pompoms, one in each colour, and stitch to the top of tea cosy.
