- Materials
- • curtain - tab top or eyelet
• assorted co-ordinating printed fabrics
• ruler/tape measure
• scissors
• pins
• sewing thread to match fabrics & curtain
• sewing machine
• iron - Step 1
- Cut out desired number of fabric squares in the following sizes: Large - 27cm x 28cm Medium - 22cm x 23cm Small - 17cm x 18cm Extra small - 12cm x13cm

- Step 2
- Place fabric square right side down and press back 1cm in along all edges of each square. Press under another 1cm on one edge of the square. Top stitch this double pressed edge 8mm from folded edge. This will be the top edge of the pocket.

- Step 3
- Lay curtain on a flat surface right side up. Arrange fabric pockets right side up on top of curtain in desired design. When happy with layout, pin pockets to curtain, making sure folded raw edges are folded inside pocket and the top stitched edge is at the top. Top
stitch the bottom and sides of pockets in place, 2mm from the folded edges, making sure not to sew the top of the pockets closed.
- Handy Hint
- When top stitching pockets, match your top sewing thread to the fabric of the pockets and match your bobbin thread to the colour of the back of the curtain.
