Celebrate Autumn all year round!

Final Result

Materials

• Renoir canvas
• paint - blue, dark brown, sienna, green, orange, red & gold
• autumn stencil kit
• 75ml texture paste
• varnish
• pencil
• palette
• paint brush

Step 1

Draw a tree trunk and a ground line onto the canvas. Paint the ground a watery brown and the trunk a watery mixture of brown and sienna. Paint the sky blue. Leave paint to dry thoroughly.

Step 2

Position the autumn leaf stencil onto the canvas and place the texture paste over the stencil. Repeat placing texture paste leaves over the canvas until you are happy with the design. Leave the texture paste to dry overnight.

Step 3

Paint the leaves in autumn colours and finish with a coat of varnish to protect your work.
