Capture the colours of an ‘Indian summer’ & play with specialty papers in this unusual design.

Final Result

Materials

• yellow weave cardstock
• A4 red, orange & brown specialty papers
• black card scrap
• double-sided tape or glue stick
• scissors
• craft knife
• metal ruler
• cutting mat

Step 1

Cut the yellow weave cardstock 15cm x 21cm then fold in half to form the card.

Step 2

Tear a strip of orange paper for the top of the card trim the sides of the paper to fit then attach at the fold line. Repeat this method using the brown paper then attach at the bottom of the card.

Step 3

Cut out a leaf shape from the red paper and cut out a frame shape from the black scrap. Remove the centre of the frame using the craft knife and metal ruler on the cutting mat. Mount the frame in the centre of the card then attach the leaf on top.
