Materials

• blank wooden shape (tulip)
• paint - colours of choice
• paint brush & palette
• ribbon
• clear non-stretch beading thread
• assorted beads
• scissors
• craft drill

Step 1

Paint shape and set aside to dry. Cut nylon thread to desired length. Securely tie a bead to one end then thread with beads to desired length and tie on the last bead. Make as many beaded lengths as needed. When the painted shape is dry drill one hole at the top and other holes for attaching the beaded threads. Thread the top with a length of ribbon for hanging. Tie the beaded threads through the remaining holes.
