Use scrapbook papers to dress up some décor basics.

• 1 x BasicGrey scrapbook paper - cherry cordial
• 5 x BasicGrey scrapbook paper - essence
• 3 pkts x Sam & Lucy 12” bling - straight black
• 1 pkt x Sam & Lucy cardstock - the prince
• 1 pkt x Sam & Lucy cardstock - fruit salad
• 1 pkt x BasicGrey chip sticker shapes
• 1 sheet BasicGrey elements stickers
• 1 pkt BasicGrey Rub-ons - brown
• Fizz Glitter - Opal 10
• American Crafts Black Ribbon
• cream acrylic paint
• paint brush or sponge
• paper trimmer
• scissors
• sandpaper
• PVA glue
• paint brush & palette
• double-sided tape
• craft knife & cutting mat
• wooden tissue box cover
• wooden waste paper bin
• wooden frame

Step 1

Rubbish Bin

Cover the body of the bin using the BasicGrey essence paper.

Step 2

Cut four 1” (2.5cm) x 11”(28cm) strips from ‘Sam & Lucy - the prince’ grey cardstock.

Adhere these around the bottom lip of the bin, trim or sand away any excess.

Step 3

Cut four 1” (2.5cm) x 12”(30.5cm) strips from ‘BasicGrey - Cherry Cordial’ paper.

Adhere these around the top lip of the bin, trim or sand away any excess.

Step 4

Paint around all edges roughly to give a distressed look.

Step 5

Adhere ribbon around the top and bottom using double-sided tape and stick small bling under the top piece of ribbon.

Choose chip sticker shapes to decorate the front; add rub ons to embellish.

Step 6

Tissue Box Cover
Cut three 1½” (4cm) x 11”(28cm) strips from ‘Sam & Lucy - The Prince’ dark grey cardstock.

Cut three 1” (2.5cm) x 11”(28cm) strips from ‘Sam & Lucy - fruit salad’ pale pink cardstock.

Cut three 3” (7.5cm) x 12”(30.5cm) strips from ‘BasicGrey - Cherry Cordial’ paper.

Step 7

Adhere dark grey cardstock strips along the bottom of the tissue box cover.

Trim or sand away any excess.

Measure 1¼” (3cm) up from the bottom of the box and adhere the pink cardstock all the way around, again trim or sand away excess.

Finish covering the box with the BasicGrey Cherry Cordial paper.

Use the metallic pale pink cardstock to cover the top of the box, trim or sand away excess.

Step 8

Paint around all edges roughly to give a distressed look.

Step 9

Adhere the largest size Sam & Lucy black bling strips around the box, placing it just above the pale pink cardstock.

Repeat using the smallest sized bling.

Step 10

Choose chip sticker shapes to decorate the front, cover lightly with glitter and allow to dry.

When dry adhere to the front of the box.

Add more bling and stickers to the top of the box to embellish.

Step 11

Frame
Remove the backing and mirror from the frame.

Adhere ‘BasicGrey - Essence’ to the top section of frame.

When dry place face down on cutting mat and cut away excess paper from sides edges and inside of frame.

Step 12

Cut one 3” (7.5cm) x 12”(30.5cm) strips from ‘BasicGrey - Cherry Cordial’ paper.

Adhere this to the remaining section of the frame, trim away any excess.

Step 13

Cut two 1” (2.5cm) x 11”(28cm) strips from ‘Sam & Lucy - fruit salad pink cardstock.

Adhere these along the edge of the Cherry Cordial paper, trim away excess inside the frame.

Step 14

Adhere ribbon and bling below the pink cardstock and adhere chip sticker shapes as desired and extra bling as desired.
