Made from bamboo viscose, a stylish bag for your craft gear.

Final Result

Materials

approx 4-5 balls of bamboo viscose or cotton
4mm crochet hook
decorations

Step 1

Crochet 6 sc, join with ss

Step 2

Crochet 3 chains
10 trebles into the centre and join with ss.
11 stitches.

Step 3

Row 2:
Crochet 3, crochet a treble into the same stitch and two trebles into every stitch around for a total of 22 trebles.

Step 4

Row 3:
Crochet 3, tr into same stitch.
tr into next stitch
two trebles into third stitch and every other stitch.

Step 5

Row 4:
Crochet 3 and tr into same stitch, two *tr into next two stitches then two together, repeat from * and join with ss.

Step 6

Continue adding a tr between the increase of two tr into the same stitch until you have a flat circle the desired size. This is the bag base.

I crocheted approx 14 rows.

Step 7

Switch to sc and continue to crochet until the sides are the required size.

Step 8

Ribbon decoration: approx 8 rows from finished size crochet a row of tr, every second stitch. Switch back to sc to top.

Step 9

Scalloped edge, shells of 5 tr every 2 stitches. Join with ss.

Step 10

Crochet a flat band of a row of chain and a row of tr and thread through the trebled decorative row.

Handles, chain 96, crochet sc until desired width reached.

Sew handles on to top of bag evenly.

Decorate with buttons, crochet flower, whatever takes your fancy.
