Final Result

Materials

• 19 x 50g balls ‘Moda Vera’ Dance - 3 x blue, 3 x cream, 3 x pink, 3 x orange, 3 x purple, 4 x green
• 4 x 50g balls ‘Moda Vera’ Mousse - fuchsia
• 1 x 50g ball ‘Moda Vera’ Bamboo Cotton - neutral colour to sew panels together
• 10.00mm Crochet Hook
• 6.50mm Crochet Hook
• Scissors
• Yarn Needle for sewing
• Pins or clamps for holding panels together

Step 1

PANELS
Using Dance make 6 x blue, 6 x cream, 6 x pink, 6 x orange, 6 x purple, 7 x green.

Foundation Ring:
Using ‘Moda Vera’ Dance and 10.00mm crochet hook, make 4ch, sl st into 1st ch to form a ring,
Rnd 1: 4ch, (1tr, 1ch) 5 times, sl st into 3rd ch of stch, sl st into 1-ch sp.
Rnd 2: 4ch, 1tr in same 1-ch sp, * 1ch, v-st in next 1-ch sp, repeat from * 5 times, 1ch, sl st into 3rd ch of stch, sl st into 1-ch sp.
Rnd 3: 4ch, 1tr in same 1-ch sp, * 1ch, 1tr in next 1-ch sp, 1ch, v-st in next 1-ch sp, repeat from * 5 times, 1ch, 1tr in next 1-ch sp, 1ch, sl st into 3rd ch of stch, sl st into 1-ch sp.
Rnd 4: 4ch, 1tr in same 1-ch sp, * (1ch, 1tr in next 1-ch sp) twice, 1ch, v-st in next 1-ch sp, repeat from * 5 times, (1ch, 1tr in next 1-ch sp) twice, 1ch, sl st into 3rd ch of stch, sl st into 1-ch sp.
Rnd 5: 4ch, 1tr in same 1-ch sp, * (1ch, 1tr in next 1-ch sp) 3 times, 1ch, v-st in next 1-ch sp, repeat from * 5 times, (1ch, 1tr in next 1-ch sp) 3 times, 1ch, sl st into 3rd ch of stch.
Fasten off.

Step 2

FLOWERS - make 19
Leave a tail of approx 25cm at start of each flower to sew flower onto panel.

Foundation Ring:
Using ‘Moda Vera’ Mousse and 6.50mm crochet hook, make 4ch and sl st into 1st ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: 1ch, 6dc in ring, sl st into 1st dc.
Rnd 2: 1dc in same st as sl st, (2ch, 1dc in next dc) 5 times, 2ch, sl st into 1st dc.
Rnd 3: Shell into each 2-ch lp, sl st into 1st dc.
Fasten off.

Step 3

MAKE UP
To make rug, sew panels together as per diagram below using the bamboo and a whip stitch.
Sew in all ends making sure that the centre of each panel is closed into a tight circle.
Leaving the outer panels as a border, attach a flower to the centre of each of the 19 panels in the middle of the throw using the tail to sew the flower firmly onto the panel and weaving in all ends.
