- Sew-All thread
Suitable for all fabrics, for hand and machine sewing; combines sewing properties of silk with the strength and durability in the seam of polyester.
100% long staple spun polyester: 100m, 250m, 500m, 1000m. 
- Step 2
- Natural Cotton
Suitable for hand and machine sewing for those who prefer natural fibres. 100% mercerised cotton: 100m, 250m, 400m. 
- Step 3
- Top Stitch
Strong, heavy polyester thread ideal for bold decorative sewing, button-holes and button sewing. For best results use sew-all thread in bobbin. Also suitable for hand sewing. 100% long staple spun polyester: 30m. 
- Step 4
- Quilting thread
Fine but strong with waxed finish for added strength and ensures it never tangles. 100% cotton: 29 shades, 200m. 
- Step 5
- Silk
The thread on which Gütermann was founded, suitable for hand and machine sewing, synonymous with quality and luxury for the discerning consumer. 100% spun silk: 50m. 
- Step 6
- Metallic thread
Suitable for hand and machine sewing, ideal for decorative stitching and machine embroidery. 70% polyamide: 30% polyester; 12 shades, 50m. 
- Step 7
- Linen thread
Strong, natural thread for button, craft and hobby sewing, suitable for hand sewing only. 100% linen: 8 shades, 50m. 
- Step 8
- Extra-Upholstery
Nearly as strong as Top Stitch, but finer, can be used in needle and bobbin and for hand\ sewing. Suitable for repair jobs on heavy weight fabrics, like leather, upholstery and canvas. 100% polyester; 12 shades, 100m. 
- Step 9
- Elastic thread
Bobbin thread for smocking and shirring, it can also be knitted into welts for added elasticity. Use in bobbin only. 36% polyurethane, 64% polyester: 14 shades, 10m.
