this bag is perfect for all ages and for all things, while being so fashionable and unique.

Materials

-1 Pair of old jeans either ones from home or from the seconded hand shop.
- Pins
- Sewing Machine or if your are hand sewing a heavy duty needle and thread for jeans
- Imagination and Inspiration

Step 1

Cut the jeans to the desired length you want your bag. Make sure you try your best to cut straight as it will give you e better product when you are finished. Also make sure you keep all scraps form the legs of the jeans as they will come in handy later.

Step 2

Now your jeans should look like a mini skirt. Now cut the seam line along the cotch area and flaten you jeans out.

Step 3

Cut the crotch area off, so all you are left with is a mini skirt.
From where you have cut the crotch, fold the little left tabs as shown.

Step 4

This is your time to make sure all the cuts are straight, flatten out the jeans and make sure the tabs are still folded down and your project looks like the picture shown.

Step 5

Now you can choose to either hand sew or sew your bag on the sewing machine i choose to sew on the machine as it is more accurate and straight and i know its will not wear down as easily. First sew together the tabs near the crotch (like shown), you can pin the tabs together if you are not comfortable sewing without them (make sure you don't sew the jeans together).

Step 6

Now you project should look like this.

Step 7

Turn your jeans inside out, and line the bottom up and pin it together, this is your last change to make sure you have straight cuts.

Step 8

Your almost done! now you have to sew the bottom up, make sure you use a sturdy stitch, i like to use the zig zag stitch because i have found that it is stronger.

Step 9

Turn the bag the right way, and you can use the seam off the jean legs or just cute a long piece off the legs for the handles.

Step 10

Now just pin the handles to where you want then on your bag and sew thing on. There You Have It Your Very Own Jean Purse, Have Fun And Good Creating Love Louise xx
