Step 1

Paint your letters.

Often the surface of your project will contain oils or other
contaminations preventing even adhesion of Liquid Gloss.
To eliminate this problem prior to pouring the Liquid Gloss
seal the surface with Craftsmart Glaze Paste, allow to dry
approximately 30 min.

Step 2

Elevate your project and lay plastic underneath to catch any
drips.

Step 3

Measure precisely one part resin (red cap) and one part
hardener (black cap) in a disposable styrene cup.
You don’t need to use a measuring vessel. Simply compare
levels in the transparent bottles for accuracy.
The resin (red cap) is thicker than the hardener (black cap),
so allow a few seconds for the contents to settle down the
sides of the bottle before comparing levels.

Step 4

For each 250ml of Liquid Gloss you will coat an area of approximately
60cm x 60cm.

Step 5

Mix thoroughly with a broad flat stirrer for several minutes,
scraping down the sides and stirring with a slow mechanical
motion.

Step 6

Liquid Gloss is a pouring medium rather than a painting
one.
Flood the surface to be coated immediately, it is important
that the surface be as level as possible so that the Liquid
Gloss spreads evenly, use a disposable brush or spreader
to touch up the sides or to help move Liquid Gloss across
the surface.

Step 7

Bubbles will appear after the pour, most of these will pop
out almost immediately as the Liquid Gloss is spread
across the surface.
To fully remove bubbles we recommend using a small propane
torch, sweeping lightly over the surface. Use with care
as the flame may scorch the surface if held too close.

Step 8

The glossed surface must be left for at least 24 hours in a
dust free environment to fully cure.
