• 2 x 50g balls ‘Moda Vera’ Pure Wool 8ply - pink
• 2 x 50g balls ‘Moda Vera’ Pure Wool 8ply - purple
• Small amount black for face
• 4.50mm crochet hook
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Stitch markers
• Hobby fill for stuffing

Step 1

Note: This is worked in a spiral so it is advisable to use a stitch marker to mark the start of each round.

HEAD - using pink
Rnd 1: Work 2ch, 6dc in 2nd ch from hook, sl st into 1st dc.
Rnd 2: Inc in each dc around (12 dc).
Rnd 3: 1dc in each dc around (12 dc).
Rnd 4: (1dc in next dc, inc) 6 times(18 dc).
Rnd 5: (1dc in each of next 2 dc, inc) 6 times (24 dc).
Rnd 6: (1dc in each of next 3 dc, inc) 6 times (30 dc).
Rnd 7: (1dc in each of next 4 dc, inc) 6 times (36 dc).
Rnd 8: (inc, 1dc in each of next 14 dc, inc) twice (44 dc).
Rnd 9-16: 1dc in each dc around (44 dc).
Rnd 17: (dec, 1dc in each of next 14 dc, dec) twice (36 dc).
Rnd 18: (dec, 1dc in each of next 3 dc) 6 times (30 dc).

Step 7

MAKE UP
Stuff both head and body firmly, then attach the head to the neck.

Stuff arms and legs, and attach to body.

Stuff tail and attach to bottom at the back.

Attach ears to each side at top of head.

Embroider eyes and nose on the face using the black.
