- • 2 x 50g balls ‘Moda Vera’ Pure Wool 8ply - pink
• 1 x 50g ball ‘Moda Vera’ Pure Wool 8ply - white
• 5.00mm & 6.00mm crochet hook
• Scissors
• Yarn needle - Step 1
- MITTS - make 2
Foundation Row:
Using white Pure Wool 8ply and 5.00mm hook make 27ch, turn.
Row 1: 1htr in 2nd ch from hook, 1htr into each ch to end, turn (26 htr).
Row 2: Join pink Pure Wool 8ply with sl st, 1dc, 1ch in 1st st, (1fp htr in next st, 1bp htr in next st) 12 times, 1htr in last st, turn.
Row 3: 1dc, 1ch, (1bp tr in next st, 1fp tr in next st) 12 times, 1htr in last st, turn. Rows 2 and 3 form the pattern.
Repeat pattern 6 times.
Change to white and repeat row 2 once, turn.
Change to pink and repeat row 3 once, turn.
Change to white and repeat row 2 once, turn.
Change to pink and repeat row 3 once, turn.
Change to white and repeat row 2 once.
Fasten off. - Step 2
- To make up
Fold mitt in half and sew up side seam from the bottom white stripe to half way up the mitt.
Leaving a gap for the thumb, sew up the seam from the first white stripe at the top.
