Materials

1 Ball of ‘Bella Baby’ BLAH BLAH.
1 pair 4.00mm Knitting Needles
4mm Crochet hook
Yarn Needle
1 metre ribbon

Step 1

M1: Increase by knitting into the previous row of the next st, then knitting the st itself.

Step 2

Booties – Make 2
Cast on 19 stitches, and work 2 rows of Stocking st.
Shaping
Row 1: K1, M1, K6, M1, K1, M1, K6, M1, K1. 23 stitches.
Row 2 and even rows: Purl.
Row 3: K1, M1, K8, M1, K1, M1, K8, M1, K1. 27 stitches.
Row 5: K1, M1, K10, M1, K1, M1, K10, M1, K1. 31 stitches.
Row 7: K1, M1, K12, M1, K1, M1, K12, M1, K1. 35 stitches.
Work 5 rows of Stocking St.
Instep Shaping
Row 1: K20, K2tog, turn.
Row 2: P6, P2tog, turn.
Row 3: K6, K2tog, turn.
Repeat last 2 rows, twice.
Repeat Row 2 once more.
Knit to end. 27 sts.
Purl 1 row.
Ribbon row
K1, (K2tog, YFW) to last 2 sts. K2.
Work 2 rows of stocking st.
Cast off Purl-wise.

Step 3

CROCHET TRIM
With right sides facing and using a back stitch, pin and sew sole and back seam. Weave in loose ends.
Bootee Cuff Trim
Using Crochet hook, draw up a loop at the back seam.
Round 1: (Ch3, Skip 1 st, Dc in next st), repeat around cast off edge to last st.
Round 2: SS 2 times along first loop. (Ch4, Dc in next loop) repeat around, Ss into 2nd ss at the beg. Bind off. Weave in loose ends.

Step 4

FINISHING
Cut Ribbon in half and thread through ribbon holds. Tie in front.
