Final Result

Materials

• 'Moda Vera' Shiver 50gm balls as per size
• 1 pair 10.00mm Knitting Needles
• Set of 4, 10.00mm Knitting Needles
• Stitch Holders, Stitch Markers
• Scissors, Yarn Needle, Tape Measure

Step 1

TENSION
11 sts x 13 rows to 10cm over Garter St using 10.00mm knitting needles.
*Note: Garment worked in Garter St.

BACK
Cast on 54 (58, 60, 62) sts, work in garter st until work measures 50 (51, 52, 53)cm from beg (RS facing).

Shape Armholes
Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 50 (54, 56, 58) sts.
Dec 1 st each end of next row, 48 (52, 54, 56) sts.*
Cont without shaping until work measures 70 (72, 74, 76)cm from beg, ending with RS facing.

Shape Shoulder
Cast off 11 (12, 12, 12) sts at beg of next 2 rows. Place rem 26 (28, 30, 32) sts on holder.

Step 2

FRONT
Work same as for back to *
Cont without shaping until work is 10 (10, 12, 12) rows less than back, ending with RS facing.

Shape Neck/Shoulder
K17 (19, 20, 21) sts, turn.
Next Row: K2tog, knit to end.
Work only on these sts.
Cont dec at neck edge in every row until 11 (12, 12, 12) sts rem.
Cont without shaping until front measures same as back, ending with RS facing.
Cast off.

Place centre 14 sts on a stitch holder for front neck.
Rejoin yarn to rem 17 (19, 20, 21) sts, work 1 row.
Next Row: Knit to last 2 sts, K2tog.
Cont dec at neck edge in every row until 11 (12, 12, 12) sts rem.
Cont without shaping until front measures same as back, ending with the WS facing.
Cast off.

Step 3

SLEEVES - Make 2
Cast on 30 (32, 32, 34) sts, work 6 rows garter st.
Inc at each end of next and foll 4th rows, until there are 46 (48, 50, 52) sts.
Cont without shaping until work measures 45cm from beg, ending with RS facing.

Shape Top
Cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 42 (44, 46, 48) sts.
Dec 1 st each end of every row until 30 (32, 32, 34) sts rem.
Cast off loosely.

Step 4

COLLAR
Sew fronts to back at shoulder seams.
**Note: Collar is worked in rounds.

Using set of 4 needles, distributing sts evenly over 3 needles, and with right side facing, knit 26 (28, 30, 32) sts off back neck holder, knit up 8 sts along left front shaping, knit 14 sts off back neck holder, knit up 8 sts along right front shaping 56 (58, 60, 62) sts.
Place a marker at the beg of the round and work 13cm of reverse stocking st - purl all rows.
Cast off very loosely.

Step 5

MAKE UP
Sew side seams to armhole cast off.
Sew sleeve seams, set in sleeve.
Weave in loose ends.
